David Michael Balough, 75, of Yorkville, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 after years of courageously battling many health obstacles. He was born September 26, 1946, the son of John and Marie (Blazer) Balough in Aurora.
David was a clerk for the United States Postal Service for many years. He married Dianne Piron on September 26, 1982 in Aurora. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being a member of the Phoenix and Luxembourg Clubs in Aurora. He was co-owner of Chuck and Dave's Lawn Service. David was a loving husband and father who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne (Piron) Balough; son, Brian (Katrina) Balough; daughter, Amanda (Trevor) Graham; three grandchildren, Bailey, Lance, and Brayden; brother, John (Nancy) Balough; sister, Diane (Tom) Golden; mother and father in-law, Norbert and Carlene Piron; and several nieces and nephews; and dog, Spencer.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in David's name to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation (helpfightra.org) or the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFDW.org).
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 9:30am from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00am. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate.
Visitation will be Friday, October 22, 2021 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500. Due to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, social distancing and face masks are required for those in attendance.
