Colleen A. Ryan, 57, of Aurora, died Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva. She was born August 11, 1963, in Aurora, Illinois the daughter of Leo J. and Connie (Toma) Ryan.
Colleen loved family gatherings, decorating her apartment and balcony with flowers, and animals, especially her cats Cloudy, Frosty, and Misty.
Survivors include her mother Connie Ryan; her siblings Kevin (Kelly) Ryan, Lynette (Richard) Rokop, Patrick (Sally) Ryan, Sean Ryan and Kerry Kellett; her nieces and nephews Katelyn, Stephen, Jacob, Nicholas, Allison, Adam, Brady, Zachary, Peyton; her great niece Chloe; and many cousins.
Preceding her in death were her father Leo Ryan in 2008; and both of her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 12:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY with Fr. Jerome Leake, officiating. Burial will be at Mt Olivet Cemetery in Aurora.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 4, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois. 630-631-5500.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, non-family visitors are asked to pay their respects to the family for only a few minutes and exit the funeral home in a timely fashion. Social distancing and face masks are required for those in attendance.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Colleen's name to the animal shelter of your choice.
