Cecilia J. Manietta, 83 of Naperville, formerly of Aurora, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024 with her loving daughter by her side.
She was born May 13, 1941 in Chicago to Paul and Florence (Prignano) SanFilippo.
Cecilia was a devoted mother to her only daughter, Nicole, to which she would exclaim, "It's me and her against the world!" She was a kind and loving person through and through; a wonderful friend and always hospitable when anyone visited. Cecilia could often be found reading inspirational or religious publications. She loved crossword puzzles and music, her favorite song being, "On Eagles Wings". With all of the joys she loved in life, nothing compared to the great times she shared spending time with her daughter. She will be greatly missed but her spirit will live on in all of those who loved her.
Survivors include her beloved daughter, Nicole Manietta of Naperville, with whom she lived.
Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband, Michael in 2010 and by her parents.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 11:30 am from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to St. Joseph Church at 12:00 noon. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
