Catherine Kobor, 99, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024 at Sunrise at Fountain Square in Lombard, Illinois. She was born on November 11, 1924 in Aurora, IL.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cathie Colfer, Margie (John) Staffa; her son-in-law, Rick Broz; ten grandchildren, Katie Colfer, Abbie (Josh) Cutone, Frank (Cathy) Broz, Paul (Kate) Broz, Ann (Josh) Broz, Mark (Kira) Broz, Nora (Ben) Zohar, Emma (Adam) Engel, John (Joanna) Staffa, Jacob Staffa; sixteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Brouch, Barbara Day; her brother, Edward Dieser; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kobor; her parents Fredrick and Katherine (Bauer) Dieser; two children, Frank L. Kobor, Hedy Broz; a granddaughter, Sarah Staffa; three sisters, Rose Petesch, Natalie Dieser, Margaret Bauman; two brothers, John Dieser, and Jake Dieser.
In state visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 801 Oak Street, North Aurora, Illinois 60542.
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church; Fr. Max Lasrado will officiate with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Aurora.
