Carol Ann Doemland, 80, of Montgomery, IL passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Rush Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She was born on May 19, 1942 in Aurora, IL.
Carol was a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Madonna High School in 1960. Carol married Bill on April 12, 1969 at Sacred Heart Church. She was employed by Nicor from 1966 until her retirement in 1991. Then she was employed part time at Heartland Blood Center. Carol enjoyed working out every morning. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband William "Bill" Doemland; her daughter Carla (Mark) Poss of Big Rock, IL and her son David Doemland of Telluride, CO; two grandchildren Kendra Heiss and Loudon Doemland; three great grandchildren Hunter, Hayden, and Holden; three sisters Marcia (Jerry) Goss of Loveland, CO, Mary Rukas of Oswego, IL and Nan Jean (Dana) Cramer of Loveland, CO; her brother Anthony "Tony" (Bonnie) Rukas, Jr. of Aurora, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Maxine (Kneipper) and Anthony Rukas.
Funeral from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY will be Monday, January 16, 2023 at 12:00pm to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 12:30pm. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with interment at Marywood Cemetery.
