Betty J. Eriksen, 81, of Aurora, went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2020. She was born April 27, 1939 in Rock Island, Illinois.

Betty was preceded in death by her mother, Ione Zerfass. Betty was the wife of the late George Eriksen, loving mother of Maria (John) Shalanko, and Patricia (Richard) Showalter, fond grandmother of four granddaughters: Katrina, Melody, Jazzmin, and Cadence; beloved cousin of Nancy Jo (Donnie) Boeker .

Betty was a friendly, caring neighbor in her community. Betty was a devoted Catholic, attending mass regularly at Annunciation BVM Church. Betty's final days were dedicated to faithful prayer to glorify Jesus Christ, and thoughtful fellowship with friends and loved ones through encouraging notes and phone calls. In these current times, Betty's memorial and interment will be limited to family members.
