Bernice H. Hoffman, 91, of Normal, Illinois, formally of Aurora, Illinois, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Carle Bromenn Medical Center in Normal, Illinois. She was born September 9, 1930 in Aurora, Illinois.
Bernice was a devoted member of Holy Angels Church. Bernice along with her husband John owned and operated Valley Floor Covering, Inc. for many years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
Survivors include her six children and their spouses: Terence (Mary) Hoffman, Sr., Patricia (James) Peal, Peter (Sally) Hoffman, Sr., Sue (Jim) Smith, John (Lori) Hoffman, Jr. and Andrew Hoffman; her daughter-in-law, Cindy Hoffman; twenty grandchildren, Terence Hoffman, Jr., Melissa (Robert) DuBois, Ryan Hoffman, Thomas Laver, Sara (Andrew) Lines, Peter (Diana) Hoffman, Jr., Adam (Sara) Hoffman, Benjamin (Emilie) Hoffman, Cassandra (Bror) McWhinney, Michelle (Robert) Jones, Arin (Bryan) Carter, Matthew Hoffman, Andrea (Chris) Terry, Kevin (Amanda) Hoffman, Kyle (Bailey) Hoffman, Madison Hoffman, Meghan Hoffman, Thomas Hoffman, Joshua Hoffman and Karisa Hoffman; thirty four great grandchildren, Jordan, Zoie, Cooper, Madeline, Katherine, Brayden, Dylan, Madelyn, Jasper, Calliope, Eleanore, Jacob, Amelia, Alisyn, Ana, Mallory, Natalie, Gillian, Jack, Addison, Camryn, Dylan, Gunner, Emerson, Gavin, Stella Bea, Quinn, Carson, Brennan, Weston, Leyton, Brynnlee, Malayah, and Legend; two sisters, Barbara Blasing, Catherine (John) Anderson; two brothers, Joseph (Penny) Clemens, David (Linda) Clemens; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband John P. Hoffman, Sr.; two sons, Thomas Hoffman and Timothy Hoffman; her parents, Albert and Margaret (Menke) Clemens; her sister, Alice (late Robert) Ries; a brother-in-law, Robert Blasing and a former daughter-in-law, Lisa Hoffman.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 9:30 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to Holy Angels Church at 10:00 AM; Fr. Michael Lavan will officiate with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM with the Rosary to be recited at 5:30 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois 630-631-5500.
