Barbara M. Reynolds

Barbara M. Reynolds, age 79, passed away peacefully, January 26, 2017, with her children at her side. Barb was born on December 8, 1937 to Joseph and Florence Musich in Yonkers, NY. She graduated from East Aurora High School. She then married John E. Reynolds on September 6, 1958, in Aurora. Together they owned and operated John's Service Station for 53 years. Barb's true calling was her devotion to her family. They were always her first priority. She was extremely caring, giving and loving with a great sense of humor and one of the kindest, most generous individuals one could ever meet. When Barb walked into a room, people automatically took a liking to her. She made friends very easily with friendships lasting a lifetime. She was also a huge nature and animal lover with a special fondness of Old English Sheepdogs. She enjoyed traveling, especially cruising which was her favorite way to spend a relaxing vacation. She embraced life with a passion. Survivors include her two children, Joe (Teri) Reynolds of Rockford, IL, Sue Reynolds of White Plains, NY; three grandchildren, Justine (Robert) Fiorenza of Charleston, SC, Grace Reynolds of Chicago, IL and Seth Reynolds of Seattle, WA; one great grandson, Jackson Fiorenza of Charleston, SC; two special sisters in-law, Jane McDermott of Deland, FL and Patricia Musich of Aurora, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, John; her sister, Patricia Landorf and Pat's husband, Elmer; her brothers, Donald and Richard Musich. The family would like to thank her neighbors for always keeping an eye on mom, the loving/caring staff at Fresenius Kidney Care Aurora, all the doctors, nurses and staff who took care of her at Presence Mercy Medical Center and at Alden Rehabilitation Facility and all of her friends who supported her and us every single day. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY. Interment will be private.
