Bacilio Venecia Sr, 60, of Montgomery passed away at Rush Copley Medical Center on
Tuesday May 7, 2024. He was born June 26,1963 in Rochelle to Donato and Eva
(Rivera) Venecia.

Bacilio served in the 82 nd Airborne Infantry. He was a loving husband to his wife Patricia
(Vieja), father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was family oriented, helping with
school projects, showed support in sports for his kids and grandkids. He loved family
events, road trips and being outdoors. He was a jack of all trades. He loved building
things, especially home projects.

He is survived by his children, Sabrina (Ruben) Gonzalez, Cheyenne (Samuel)
Sanchez, LaToya (David) Hernandez, Basilio (Piedad) Venecia Jr, and Miguel (Marissa)
Venecia; 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; brothers Erasmo Razz Venecia
and Donato Venecia Jr., sister, Ernestine Venecia and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donato and Eva; son, Arturo T. Soto; Wife,
Patricia Rodriguez ; one brother; and four sisters.

Visitation will be Sunday May 12, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
