Arturo Nicolas Romero Mora, 81, of Aurora, passed away at his home on Friday, August 20, 2021. Arturo was born on September 10, 1939 in Mexico, the son of Alfredo Romero Chimalpopoca and Maria De La Cruz mora De Romero. He was married to his beloved, Ma Dejesus Delgado Gomez. Together they celebrated fifty-seven years together and raised eight children.
Arturo loved his family, was a hard worker, and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He was greatly loved and will be remembered and cherished.
He is survived by his eight loving children, Martha A. Flanagan, Norma G. O' Campo, Lily Romero, Grisel Romero, Arturo Romero, Jr., Alfredo Romero, Erika Romero, Jessica C. Romero; twenty-two grandchildren, Alex, Andrea, Andrew, Lily, Bryanna, Cailin, Sereina, Miguel, Jr., Tanya, Albert, Giovanni, Jacob, Amanda, Sofia, Ava, Bella, Jaxson, Zackery, Giselle, Noah, Natalie, Jaclyn; and three great grandchildren, Sophia, Lorenzo, and Luciano.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and brother, Alfredo Romero.
Visitation will be Monday, August 23, 2021 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois. 630-631-5500. Burial will be held in Mexico.
