Anton F. Pable, 65, of Aurora IL, passed away on May 7th at the Elevate North nursing care facility after a yearlong battle with ALS.
Anton was a graduate of East Aurora high school. He also attended Waubonsee Community College and DeVry Technical Institute. Anton worked at several places throughout his lifetime including Copley Memorial Hospital, Pres-On Products and Eagle foods. Anton loved to tinker with electronics and do household repairs. He grew up being an avid Green Bay Packer, Cubs, and Bulls fan. He also enjoyed bowling in younger years playing in several leagues.
Anton was survived by his mother, Theresa Pable, sisters Bertha Pable, Elizabeth Mallie, Kathy Mattice, brother John (Loretta) Pable and nieces and nephews (Christopher, Steven, Brittany, Andrew, Brooke, Marcus, Theresa, Jeremiah, John, Ben and Anna and great nieces and nephews Alexis, Charlotte, Graham, Avery, Declan, and Audrey.
Anton was preceded in death by his father, Heinrich Pable, brothers Michael and Henry, and maternal Grandparents Joseph and Maria Treml with whom he had a special bond
A memorial mass will be held Friday, May 31, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Therese Church in Aurora, IL. The family will receive guests prior to the service beginning at 9:30 AM at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made in Anton's name to the ALS United Greater Chicago or St Therese Church.
