Obituary

Anne M. Gervais, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 6, 2023. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Aurora. Anne was born in Pontiac, Michigan on April 9, 1946. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Della Wyers.
After graduating high school, she went to Cosmetology School and became a license Cosmetologist. Anne moved to Illinois in 1973, where she was able to raise her two daughters. She met and married Armand in 1979 and they spent 43 wonderful years together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Anne always looked forward to spending time with her family. She was a long-time member of Sanctuary Church in Batavia where she loved singing in the Ladies Choir. Her strong Christian faith led to one of her most common sayings of, "trust in the Lord; for he will take care of you." For 25 years, Anne worked for the Oswego TJ MAXX where she made many friends. Everyone who knew "Annie" loved her because she was so easy to talk to and could readily put a smile on anyone's face. Anne lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed reading, swimming, and a lifelong love of horses and horseback riding. Her greatest passion, however, was spending precious time with her Sheltie dogs, friends and family. Anne's presence will most certainly be missed; and she will be forever loved. Anne is survived by her loving husband of forty-three years, Armand; daughters, Beverly Pfeuffer and Lorraine Deuchler; son, Joshua (Laura Gonzales) Pfeuffer; grandchildren, James (Katie) Miller, Naomi (Chance) Knight, and Ashley (Matt) Hill; great grandchildren, Mac Knight and Alexander Miller; sister, Mary Ruschkewicz; sisters in law, Estelle Ladenthin, Laurette Nadeau and Linda Cote; many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends, especially, Carrie Smith and Debbie Shumway.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Kenneth and Della (VanGordon) Wyers; brothers, James and Kenneth Wyers and sister, Eleanor Johnson; mother in law, Clara Cyr; brothers in law, Harry Ladenthin, Phillip Ruschkewitz, Donald Johnson and Gilles Nadeau.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 10:30 am followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 am at the Sanctuary Church, 1S430 Wenmoth Road, Batavia, IL 60510.
