Ann Williams (nee Mossuto), 86, of Montgomery, IL, and long-time Aurora resident, greeted the earthly sunrise Saturday morning, February 5, 2022, and shortly thereafter peacefully followed a brighter eternal light, accepting the call of the Lord. Her family and friends were present through the end and received blessings in return, sharing prayers and love over several days and nights preparing her for the journey.
Ann's memory and faith lives on through her loving family; her dutiful son, Harold of Novi, MI; her caring and thoughtful daughters, Jean Camerier of Montgomery, IL, Lori Jo (fiancé Mark Koskie) of Aurora, IL, and Cheryl Rivera, of Aurora, IL; seven beloved grandchildren, Katie Heiden (Rob), Matt Camerier (Samantha), Grant and Kent Williams, Jessica Francis (Robbie), Anna and Julia Rivera; her six inspirational great-grandchildren, Monet, Aiden, Michael, Autumn, and the newest members Rosa and Weston; sisters-in-law, Nada Williams of Lehi, UT and Jane Williams of Oak Park, IL; numerous, loving nieces, nephews, and cousins; a special, honorary daughter, Glenna; as well as a lifetime of close friends and neighbors which she cherished through the years.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Harold; two unforgotten angels, Beth Ann and Michael, who took their journey shortly after birth; her parents, Salvatore and Filomena (La Manna) Mossuto; doting brothers, Thomas, Edward and James; and a precious sister, Barbara.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 14, 2022, 10:00 am, at St. Rita of Cascia Church, Aurora, IL. Fr. Andrew Carl Wisdom will officiate, with Monsignor Robert Willhite as co-celebrant. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to St. Rita of Cascia Church.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 13 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora, 630-631-5500. Due to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, face masks are required for those in attendance at the funeral home and at church.
