Alejandro Urzua Jr. passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026, in Aurora, Illinois. He was born on July 31, 1998, in Naperville, Illinois.
Alejandro was a loving, caring, and hardworking young man whose heart was always with the people and animals he loved. He had a special way of making those around him feel his loyalty, warmth, and kindness. He was always there for his family, and his beloved dogs—Papas, King, and Red Girl—held a very special place in his heart.
Alejandro enjoyed the simple moments in life, especially his daily walks and bike rides at Waubonsie Lake. These were some of the places where he found peace and happiness. From his elementary school years through high school, Alejandro was active in sports and especially loved football. His love for the game reflected his energy, determination, and team spirit.
Alejandro was a proud graduate of Waubonsie Valley High School. After graduation, he worked at a warehouse, a job he enjoyed. He was known for his strong work ethic and for giving his best to whatever he put his mind to. Those who worked alongside him appreciated not only the work he did but also the person he was.Above all, Alejandro was family-oriented. He loved deeply and cared about the people closest to him. His family was an important part of his life, and the memories he created with them will forever be treasured.
Preceded in Death By Alejandro was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Leonel Garcia; his grandfathers, Enrique Leonel Garcia and Guillermo Urzua; his great-grandmother, Mary Peña; his uncles, Eric Jovan Hill (D’Joe) and Sylvester Garcia; and his cousin, Angel Vargas.
Survived By Alejandro is survived by his father, Alejandro Urzua Sr., and his mother, Cynthia Urzua; his sister, Sylvia Urzua; and his brother, Leonel Urzua.
He is also survived by his grandparents, Anastacia Cordero and Salvador Cordero; his nieces, Sophie Eileen Portillo, Isabella Aurora Reyna, and Hazel Amora Reyna; his uncles, Enrique Torres, Georgie Torres, Ishmael Casas Sr., Guillermo Urzua Jr., Dijon Austin, and Jose Castillo; and his aunts, Stephanie Castillo, Roxann Garcia, Destiny Garcia, Angela Cordero, Lorena Urzua, Denise Rodriguez, and Teresita Barbosa.
He is lovingly remembered by his special godbrother and best friend, Ishmael Casas Jr. (BabyBoy); his godbrother, Sylvester Casas; and his godsisters, Anaya Casas, Mia Casas, and Khole Casas. He will also be lovingly remembered by his cousins, Romeo Nuenchristian, Armando Morales, Andrew Morales, Ray Torres, Natalie Zavala, Victor Rodriguez, Angelique Torres, and many more nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Forever in Our Hearts Alejandro’s memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him. He will be remembered for his caring heart, his loyalty, his hardworking spirit, his love for his family, his love for his dogs, and the many little moments that made him who he was. Although his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he left behind will last a lifetime.
His family will carry him with them in every memory, every story, and every moment when they feel his presence close by. His smile, his laughter, his kindness, and the love he shared will never be forgotten.Alejandro was deeply loved, and he will be deeply missed. There will never be another him, and there will never be a day when he is forgotten. His life was a precious gift, and everyone who had the blessing of knowing him will forever be grateful that he was a part of their lives.
Until we meet again, Alejandro. You will always be loved, always remembered, and forever missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Daleiden Mortuary, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois 60506.
A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 801 South Eola Road, Aurora, Illinois 60504.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Daleiden Mortuary of Aurora, Illinois, providing funeral and cremation services to Aurora, Montgomery, Sugar Grove, Oswego, Batavia, Yorkville, and surrounding communities.
