Albert M. Bacchi, 90, of Aurora, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023. He was born in Chicago, on September 29, 1933 to Albert and Phoebe Bacchi.
Al served the US army, worked for the Secretary of State, and owned AB Vending. After selling the business he worked for Napa until full retirement. Al was very proud of his Italian heritage and was active in many organizations such as Jaycee's, Kiwanis, Boy Scouts of America, and the Miss Western Cook County Beauty Pageant. He was active in his parish as a Eucharistic minister, Holy Name, and the Knights of Columbus.
He moved to Marywood when he married Marilee and shared a beautiful life for 42 years. He was a loving husband and proud grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Marilee Bacchi and her children, Veronica (Bob) Julien and Kevin (Barbara) Kocher; grandchildren, Brittany (Tim) Kelly, Nicholas (Daniella) and Jacob Leon, Kelly, Katie, Rick, Paul Cari Kocher, Lindsey, Katilyn, Izrael (Mirronda), Ishmael (Cheyenne) Rosa and Christian Miller, Maggie, Dan and Tom Julien; and seven great grandchildren; devoted nieces, Marie Bornemann and Maureen Bacchi, as well as several other loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both parents; wife, Dorothy (nee Lynch), daughter, Sharon Miller, siblings Santina (Ralph)Goodwin, Ben (Mary) Bacchi, Katherine (Bill) Bornemann, Marguerite (Karl) Jones, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Annunciation Catholic Church or St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Al's name.
Funeral will be held at 9:30 AM Monday, November 13, 2023 from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora. 630-631-5500 to Annunciation Catholic Church, 1820 Church Road, Aurora for Mass at 10:00 AM.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
