Alan Dale Long's Obituary
Alan Dale Long, 78, of Aurora, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 at Delnor Hospital. He was born May 8, 1945 in Aurora, Illinois.
Alan was a graduate of Aurora University. He was a longtime employee at Fermilab.
He is survived by his wife, Laurian Dzuris; three children, Brett Long, Corey (Pam) Long, Fana Dzuris-Long; four grandchildren, Amy Long, Jessica Long, Noah Long, Seth Long; six great grandchildren; his brother, Gerald (Stefania) Long.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Ruth (Pierce) Long.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY; Pastor Dave Ludwig will officiate. Interment will be private.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, IL 60506. (630) 631-5500.
Memorial contributions in Alan's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
