Manuel Mendoza

Manuel Mendoza, 90, of Aurora, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Winfield Woods Healthcare Center. He was born June 16, 1928 in Camuy, Puerto Rico. Manuel was a longtime faithful member of St. Therese Church. He retired from Nabisco after twenty one years of service as a machine operator. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife Felicita (Lopez) Mendoza; six children, Irma (Johnny) Gonzalez, Efrain “Frank” (Evelyn) Mendoza, Rafael Mendoza, Nereida (Edictor) Gonzalez, Israel “Izzy” (Karen) Mendoza, Arcides “Quito” (Laura) Mendoza; twenty three grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; his brother, Fidel (Auria) Mendoza and several other brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Juan and Gregoria (Burgos) Mendoza; and several sisters. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 9:30 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to St. Therese Church at 10:00 AM; with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
