It is with great sadness we announce Juanita Azua, 89, of Aurora, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2020. She was born October 20, 1930, in El Matorral, SLP, Mexico Daughter of the late Maria de Jesus and Omogono Mares. Juanita was a devoted wife, loving mother and a beloved grandmother to many. Juanita always provided love and support to her family in any way she could. Most of all, she loved and adored her grandchildren, they were her world. Juanita was a compassionate spirit whose passion was serving others. She enjoyed most to be with family. Juanita will be forever remembered for her caring heart, loving embrace and unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate her life and take comfort in knowing Juanita and Leobardo are together again in heaven watching over us. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Juanita is survived by her son, Roman (Alma) Azua; her two grandsons, Cesar (Jessica) Azua and Aaron Azua; her granddaughter, Mariel Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Emilia, Julian, David and Raymond; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leobardo Antonio Azua, her sister, Matilde Mares; and three brothers Juan, Florentino and Alberto Mares. Please remember to sign the virtual guest book and leave condolences for her family on our tribute page.
