CaroleAnne “Connie” Meisch, 80, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at her home. She was born December 9, 1941 Aurora, Illinois Connie was a lifelong resident of Aurora, Illinois and a devoted member of Annunciation Church. She retired from Preferred Packaging with over forty years of service to the company. She loved traveling, reading and playing cards. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and GiGi and she will be missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her five children, Melissa (Claudio) Mercado, Paul (Celia) Meisch, John Meisch, Michael Meisch, Sarah Meisch-Sommer; six grandchildren, Gabriella (Grant) Mercado, Amalia Mercado, Elizabeth Sommer, Alex Sommer, John Meisch, Madelynn Meisch; a great granddaughter, Lorretta Schaefer; two sisters, Kay (Ray) Glessner, Leanne Blakinger; dozens of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Meisch; her parents Vern and Elaine (Tesch) Blakinger; her sister, Verlaine Frieders; and her brother, Peter Blakinger. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 9:30 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to Annunciation Church at 10:00 AM; Fr. Patrick Gillmeyer, O.S.B. will officiate with inurnment at Marywood Cemetery. Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois 630-631-5500.
