Nancy R. Losito

Nancy Rae Losito 76, passed away peacefully at home on July 24, 2014 surrounded by the ones she laughed with, loved and lived for. She was born September 3, 1937 in Berwyn, Illinois. Nancy graduated from Morton High School in 1955. At age 15, she was introduced to her soul mate Dr. Vincent J. Losito. They married on August 30, 1958 spending 56 wonderful years together. Nancy moved to Aurora, Illinois in 1962 to support her loving husband in opening up his pediatric dental office. Nancy devoted much of her time and energy to her family. She prided herself on making her house a home, where wonderful moments of laughter and love happened. She was drawn to and loved to watch children, their laughter and strength made her smile. She was an accomplished traveler visiting sixty plus countries, her favorites being Italy, Thailand, Vietnam, and Spain. The only remaining item on her bucket list was to get to Asia with (her babies) granddaughters, sadly cancer had other plans. One of her most precious treasures were her great friends, some that went all the way back to the age of two! She made a mark on every life she touched. In addition to her husband, Vincent she leaves daughter Donna (Karl) Heinrich to cherish her memory. Her most important passion was being Meme to whom she called “her babies”, Amanda Rae of Chicago and Stephanie Ann (James) Konen of Anchorage, Alaska. She is also survived by nephews and a niece. She is preceded in death by her loving son John; her parents Rozella and Einar Swanson and brother Roy. Nancy’s family would like to thank the many dear friends that supported their family during this sad journey. Nancy will be missed but never forgotten. Visitation will be Monday, July 28, 2014 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm with a Eulogy at 7:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY. Funeral and burial will be private.
