Eleanor H. Weber

Eleanor H. Weber, 92 of Aurora, IL passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at her home. She was born March 6, 1921 in Aurora, the daughter of (the late) John and Elizabeth (Emnett) Hopp. Eleanor was united in marriage to Robert Weber on September 27, 1944 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Aurora where she was a lifetime member. After graduating from Madonna High School in 1939, she was a receptionist and switchboard operator at Durabilt Manufacturing Co and later worked at Illinois Bell Telephone Co. Following this, she spent the majority of her time as a homemaker with her husband and family. In later years, she was a volunteer at the Sacred Heart Monastery in Aurora and a member of the National Catholic Society of Foresters. Survivors include her son, Robert E. (Anne) Weber of Aurora and three daughters, Lynn (Robert) Barclay of Aurora, Pat (Larry) Lawrence of Eckerty, IN and Kaye (Frank) Cosentino of Aurora; 10 grandchildren, Jessica Weber of Aurora, Nathan (Dorothy) Weber of Aurora, CO, Lisa (Tim) Berry of Chevy Chase, MD, Steve (Heather) Barclay of Chicago, IL, Gina (Ozgur) Ekinci of Istanbul, Turkey, Larry (Brenda) Lawrence of Newburgh, IN, Brian Lawrence of Nashville, TN John (Ryann) Lawrence of Clinton, WI, Scott (Jenny) Cosentino of Plano, IL and Dan (Candi) Cosentino of Valparaiso, IN; two step grandchildren, Ben Jungels of Montgomery, IL and Vanessa (Gabriel) Quiroz of Aurora, IL; 10 great grandchildren, Ella, Joshua and Matthew Weber; Ella, Chris and Maeve Berry; Bea Barclay; and Savannah, Faith and Jacob Lawrence; three step great grandchildren, Mallory (Zac) Ford of Pensacola, FL and Gian and Gracie Quiroz of Aurora; two step great great grandchildren, Greyson and Piercen Sinclair of Brandon, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1998; her parents; two brothers Herman and Robert Hopp; one sister, Louise Cook and one grandson, Christopher Weber. There will be no visitation as Mrs. Weber has donated her body to the Advancement of Medical Education and Research. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date at St. Joseph Church in Aurora, IL. Memorials may be directed to St. Joseph Church, 722 High St., Aurora, IL. 60505.
