Mary E. Muth

Mary Elizabeth Josephine Schulte Muth, 94, of Aurora passed away on Thursday, February 26th, 2015 at Sunnymere in Aurora, IL. She was born March 14,1920 in St. Helena, NE. Mary's career started as a country school teacher in a one room schoolhouse teaching grades 1- 8 in South Dakota. She served in the U.S. Navy as a Storekeeper Disbursing 2nd Class WAVE during WWII. She was a araprofessional librarian at Our Lady of Good Counsel School for 25 years and continued as a volunteer for an additional 17 years. She was a member of the Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Sanctuary Sodality, a Forester and a member of the Catholic Library Association. She is survived by three daughters and two sons: Sharon (Ed) Jakush of Chicago, IL; Patricia Patterson of Orlando, FL; JoAnne (Randy) Zielinski of Chicago, IL; William Muth of Orient, SD and Thomas (Jill) Muth of Aurora, IL. There are 9 grandchildren: Adam (Ina) Jakush,Natalie Jakush, Kurtis Jeanice) Muth, Christopher (Allysia) Muth, Matthew Muth, Lindsay Muth, Amy Zielinski, Ryan (Jennifer) Zielinski and Craig Zielinski. There are 7 great grandchildren: Jonathan Jakush, Tess and Barrett Muth, Cole and Myles Muth, Charles Martin Randolph III and Natalie Zielinski. She is also survived by her brother Richard Schulte and three sisters: Madelyn Schulte, Mary Ann Jacobsen, Rita Conard and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Warren Muth, her parents Helena (Boeckman) and Stephen Schulte, a sister Monica (Bill) Kastens, brother-in-law Maurice Conard and beloved granddaughter Anna Zielinski. Funeral from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY will be Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 9:30AM to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10:00 am. Fr. Ricardo Hernandez will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 3:00 - 8:00 pm with a liturgical wake service at 4:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N.
