When a family selects cremation as a form of disposition but desires a full viewing
for visitation, a rental casket is often selected. This casket has a removable insert
for the interior. This casket allows a family to use a casket without having to buy it.

The body is embalmed, dressed and casketed in the rental casket then visitation
and funeral services are held. Families can select traditional two-day services or
traditional one-day services.

When the funeral is finished, the entire casket insert containing the remains is
removed and transported to the crematory. This type of service provides all the
traditional "rites" of funeralization while using cremation as the form of disposition.
